[attr="class","likedoinfo"]Here on The Borderlands we have a few extra character types for you to enjoy. These are in very limited supply and will not be readily available as a first character, and must be purchased through the credits system.
Sirens are women with mystical, unknown backgrounds and incredible powers, and are distinguishable by the tattoos running down one half of their body. Only eight sirens can exist in this universe at the same time, though this is subject to change. Not much is known about the sirens other than their powers range from great to dull, and that they use eridium as a form of power enhancer to further garner their abilities.
Humanoids with siren like powers, except for one vast change. These are restricted to only men - men who can use eridium to bend and change the world around them at their will. There's not much known about them, far less than sirens though it has been determined that their abilities range around physics. There are only four krakens allowed in the universe at the same time, and they are known for being rather enchanting.
A humanoid born with Eridium in their blood, which holds the ability to communicate with vault guardians and walk between vaults. This is exceedingly rare and seen still as just a myth, much like sirens were seen as beforehand. Titans hold eridium deposits in their blood as well as having tattoos on their body in Erirdian and can consume shards of eridium in order to perform a specialized ability, typically seen as a healing ability. The markings are seen in shades of purple and it isn’t rare for a Titan to have other such purple markings, such as purple veins or purple eyes that display the eridium within them.
A humanoid with the abilities of a vault guardian, to a vastly lesser degree. While one humanoid may have the weapon of a vault guardian, one may other have the healing capabilities or the means of intelligence of one other guardian. These humanoids oftentimes carry the names of the guardian they have adopted their abilities from, though their abilities don’t typically show until their early 20’s. Weapons are granted to them when they reveal their bloodline through a mark on their skin bearing the vault symbol. Slightly more common than Titans these humanoids often are driven mad by the knowledge in their brains and are prone to being unstable, and don’t typically live long lives.
