ii. there's no word count here, so long you provide enough content in your posts for others to reply. so feel free to be brief or long-winded with your posts.

iii. keep your character's actions realistic. even though this site is set in many fantastical settings, doesn't give you the right to bend reality for your character. if your character is sick, they should act sick. if your character is wounded, they should act wounded. if your character is wanted for theft or murder, they should act accordingly to their situation.

iv. any form of power playing, metagaming, or god modding is prohibited. members attempting to do any of these will be warned and requested to change their posts. if they continue to do it after warning, members will be punished.

v. don't bring drama into the site unless it's in character drama. if you're having issues with someone bring it up to staff in private and we'll help you to resolve it. if it's an issue with staff, bring all staff to knowledge so we can sort any issues out.

vi. the chat box is meant to be a fun and relaxing place to hang. you are free to ask questions, plot any site related conflicts or events, or simply chatter about unrelated topics. do not dump your life dramas, toxically bicker with other members, advertise other forums, or spam the chat. also try and keep excluding and private conversations off the chat box to help all other members feel included.

vii. graphics for your accounts need to be 100x100 for your icon image and 300px tall and 200px wide for your avatar image. any further graphics in your member accounts are not required but free to be added.


The Borderlands is a one character per account site, and each account should be registered with the first name if your character, or a nickname. Once you register your account should have the first and last name (if they have one) in ALL CAPS.

Concerning characters, the general rule is go wild, but not too wild. Think of anything your little heart desires, pour it all into your work. Keep all your characters humanoid, infect them with eridium, make them from other planets, one of the edens or promethea or anything in between. Create new planets, destroy seemingly old ones, but most of all have fun.

This is a site that uses animanga, drawn, or video game faces for their characters so please adhere to these rules, and always have a good excuse for anything atypical.

The general rule is two canons per person and only one vault hunter, to keep the numbers in a good decent range. More positions and character slots can be earned later on with activity checks and a point system, so beware any changes that may be coming up.
